Does anyone know of any sites that give newspaper aritcles that
happened in the 1960's, 70's in the Ashington area of Nortuhumberland. I am trying to find headline news of a brutal killing with reference to my family tree, just to find out whether it is fact or fiction.

Back copies of local newspapers are usually kept on microfilm at the library for any particular area. If you don't live close enough you could try to email the library in the area you are interested in and see if they would do a look-up for you (some will and some won't).

This is the address and telephone number (can't find an email address):-

Hi Wendy

Have you tried googling? If it is fact, I would imagine you will find something.
