Parents Brothers & Sisters of Charles Sargeant

Hi Everyone,

A newbie to the board and GR and looking to get beyond the early 1900's.
Can anybody help with family information (parents & brothers & sisters) of;

Charles Sargeant born 1908 in West Ham district. Vol 4a Page 487.

Hi Wayne, there are a lot of Sargeants born in West Ham around that time, and in 1908 no record of mother's maiden name. Your best route would be to order the birth certificate and go from there.

Between 1901 (when you can check parents on the census) and 1911 (when mother's maiden name was added to the birth index), they only real way of finding the parent's names is to buy the birth certificate. You will then be able to look for the parents in the 1901 census.
