I have noticed some people leaving their personal EMail addies on Boards....Don't so it!! It cand leasd to all sorts of problems.scams etc...Use your private messaging facility instead.

I notice you have been posting messages to these people asking them to remove their email addresses. Unfortuneatly, I don't think they will come back to the boards to see them! A PM to them would be better, advising them that people will either post to their threads or PM them.

Sending a pm to a member about the display of an email addy or a phone number in their request is also proving to be a waste of time.

The majority of them do not respond even if you pm within 5 mins of the request appearing.

Most seem to think that the Terms & Conditions do not apply to them.

Researching:
PLEASE DO NOT: send me information concerning your thread on the board as it should be posted on your request where all members can see it. PLEASE DO NOT: ask me for help with lookups as they should be placed on the boards to get the best possible result. PLEASE DO NOT: open your tree just because I have posted information on your thread as I will not be related. THANK YOU. Researching Carter, Cass and Walker in England. Researching Caven, McKill, Sutherland and Will in Scotland.

Oh well..at least i tried..what also annoys me is doing a couple of hours work..or more.and people don't even let you know they've got it, let alone thank you!!
