Sorry Sylvia! As I said, I'm new to this site. I actually saw the "Records Office" link after posting the original one and thought it would've been best posted on the RO link. That's why I did it. I'll know in future!

I am hoping that someone can help me. I only joined GR a few days ago but despite hours of intensive searching I have only been able to trace ONE descendant of my Dad’s aunts & uncles who were born in Carluke & Stobhill in Scotland who we only found out about last week. I was hoping to have been more successful than I have been on this site.

I'm trying to find any descendants from the following sisters who were born in Carluke (Scotland):

SARAH JOHNSTON LEE (dob 14 Jun 1899; died 15 Jul 1983; married Robert George Welsh 2 Jan 1920)
GRACIE McMILLAN LEE (dob 2 Sep 1904)
LETITIA LEE (dob 16 Sep 1906)

All were sisters of my Dad's mother (ISABELLA INGRAM LEE - dob 16 Sep 1902; died 3 Jul 1951). Sadly their brother THOMAS LEE was killed in action (drowned at sea) aged 19 on 30 Dec 1917. Their parents names were ALEXANDER LEE (dob c1877; died 10 Aug 1949, from Glasgow?) and ISABELLA McMILLAN (dob 11 Apr 1881; died 8 Feb 1919, also from Carluke).

I'm also trying to find any descendants from the following sisters & brothers who were all born in Stobhill, Parish of Temple (Scotland):

JANE ("Jeanie") DRYSDALE (dob 8 Mar 1870; died 31 May 1955; married David Black Noble 30/12/1898; son David Noble - dob 1901?, Midlothian?; died 1971? Inveresk & Musselburgh?; married Alice Shaw 24 Mar 1922)
ANN DRYSDALE (dob 1 June 1872)
JOHN DRYSDALE (dob 27 Apr 1874)
ROBERT DRYSDALE (dob 1 Nov 1876)
WILLIAM DRYSDALE (dob 25 Jan 1878)
THOMAS DAVIDSON DRYSDALE (dob 23 Mar 1884)
MARGARET DRYSDALE (dob 12 Apr 1886)

All were brothers/sisters of my Dad's father (HENRY ALEXANDER DRYSDALE - known as ALEX - dob 14 May 1890). Their parents names were JOHN DRYSDALE (dob c1847) and MARGARET DAVIDSON (dob 2 Mar 1847, from Gowkshill, Cockpen)

If anyone can help (and has the time/technology), it would be so appreciated. I have more info if you need it. I would just love to let my Dad know of any descendants of his aunts & uncles – and if I can find any living relatives that would be a dream come true for him – and me. Thank you for your time and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that some kind soul will get back to me.....
