I was going to put this just on general.

James Legon, who ran the Dockland Ancestors (Parish Registers) site has passed away at such an early age. He had a heart attack some months ago but had rallied and was back sending out his very funny newsletters and planning addtions to the parish register transcripts.

I know quite a few of you on Tips have used the site and no doubt some of you had also become very friendly with him.

I feel terribly upset at the loss of a wonderful, witty and kind man who had helped those of us with dockland ancestors so much with his site. He will be very sorely missed.

Sincere condolences to his wife Yvonne and family.

RIP James.
