Neil's right - you can open them in MSpaint and view them. MSpaint also gives you the option of saving them as .gif or .jpg files.

You shouldn't have to convert them. TIF is a common format (it is used by faxes) which should be viewable on any version of windows. I am sure MS Paint (comes with all versions of windows) will open TIF files.

Thanks Heather I have found a way I dowloaded the free Adobe and I can get them onto ther which is GIF.

Hi Heather,

This is images I save/store on the computer from Scotlands People, I get mine in Tif but somehow I can't change them to Gif in order to send them to people, they only have Gif and can't view them..
