Hi,
Does anyone happen to know where exactly the Sarsons vinegar factory was near Sutton/Carshalton, Surrey in the 1950's
With thanks for any help.

I think the link from Betty Boo is the Bermondsey Sarsons factory which was close to the railway lines going in to London Bridge. If there was one in Sutton as well (many miles from London Bridge) it would be worth contacting Sutton Museum/Heritage Service to see if they have information on it. See

Hi Betty boo and Malcolm,
Have just looked at the site but from information given to me by 3 seperate people that one is far too close to the centre of London and too far away from Carshalton. Mum has asked a friend of hers who knows someone who has lived in the area all his life so hopefully I will get some feedback later in the week. If that fails will give the local museum a try. Thanks for all your suggestions.
