Hi Everyone,

I'm very new here so apologies if i have posted this in the wrong section.

I've found my grandfather on the birth register but I'm unsure as to where he was born. His name was Jack Bayley, he was born in October 1915 and his mothers maiden name was Turner. I can't make out what the place is on the register though. It only looks like three letters long but with my minimalistic geography knowledge I've been unable to narrow is down! Has anybody come across anything like this before?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks x
