Margaret Priscilla Edwards married James Patterson Smith in May 1942 in Karachi. There is no sign of a marriage index on the GRO marriages overseas. Any idea how to get details of their marriage cert?

Sometime between 1946-1951, Margaret, her son Dennis Robin and daughter Patricia (all last name Smith) came back from India to UK. Are there any passenger lists of inbound passengers anywhere?
