I think your best bet would be to buy the birth cert for William that will give you mum's maiden name fathers name and occupation

the 6 Month old on that page is called John and not William Woodward

can some one look up a John Woodward ( coal miner ) in the 1861 cen in Leigh or Atherton Lanc's . And a birth for a William Woodward June 1860 Leigh Lanc's 8c 20? thanks Paul.
