	You'd be better off looking for meanings in a book like the Oxford Dictionary of Surname Meanings. Many websites supposedly giving meanings are not that accurate. You also need to realise that families do not own coats of arms. These are held by individuals only and other relations do not technically have any right to them in their original form. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coat_of_Arms Sue
