Hi there folks,
Just looking for a Kathleen Kavanagh. She marries my grandad in 1925 in London and is listed as Irish. Don't have fathers name or next of kin. Could have been born around 1905, don't know when they came across or even if she says that she is irish, as in parents are but she born London, not sure. Can anyone find her on maybe the first 1901 census, if born before 1901.

Basically, you need the volume and page numbers which you can get from FreeBMD.
There are a couple there. Did she marry either George Hill or Malcom Croucher?

hi there folks,
realy need to send of for marriage certificate, yes she did marry a george hill, his first marriage and they had a child called William George, he died. She the moves out one day when grandad is at work, he has to wait 7 years to remarry, which was my grandmother. Just got his servce records from th cold stream guards, didn't know her name really till now

UPDATE - sorry just realised that the name should be William George Hill, but I've looked at the same qtr for that name and there isn't one. Where have you got the death date from if you haven't got the death certificate?

The date of death is on my grandads cold stream guards records. Don't know if he died in Elsecar which is where they lived for a short time. That is in Yorkshire, probably barnsley area, not far from rotherham though.
age just over 1 years of age

I can't find a William G. Hill death in the September qtr. of 1926 anywhere at the age of 1.

He was born apparently in the 30th June 1925 Lambeth, not sure what is going on lol. Cant seem to find him living or dead. Not sure where to go from here. can't order a certificate if i can't find him.

Yes, as I said above, mother's maiden name is given as Cavanagh, spelt with a "C".

If he was born 30th June then he probably wasn't registered until July which is in the September quarter (July, August and September).
