I have been successful finding my uk based paternal side of the family but am completely stuck on my maternal side. My mothers parents came to the uk in 1948 from cyprus, had their 4 children and then retired in cyprus in the early 1980's. How do I find records on their ancestors??

Any tips on where to start looking would be greatly appreciated
