Becki, I think you will have to wait till you get the birth cert to confirm names.

The Lavinia Parker in 1881 which I posted above is only a guess as the only one who fitted the age and name.

my nans mother was florence boardman and i have got her birth cert on the way they all lived in rotherham but not sure about lavinia parker i have got a census record of someone which says she was from shipley if that helps

There is a Birth of a Marjorie Parker of Settle District Yorkshire in 1914 whose Mother's maiden name is also given as Parker.If she was born illegitimately the Father's name may not necessarily be on the Birth Certificate,but if you re thinking of geting the Cert,the GRO details are,July Quarter Settle Registration District,Volume 9a,Page 28.

this is the probem i dont know my nan had an illness when she was a baby which means she cant remember i only know the mothers name and rough age i havent even got the fathers details

When was Marjory born...also are you sure her name ends with a Y as my aunts ends with an IE

i have a person in my family tree called marjory and my nan always thought this was her aunt but upon closer inspection i cannot find any information on this lady her mother was called lavinia parker bornc1880 and she married a joseph boardman in 1925 but this marjory is not josephs daughter and despite searching free bmd for details of marjory i am yet to come up with anything i have truly hit a brick wall on this and was wondering if anyone had any other tips on me searching for this lady anything would be helpful thank you
