Hi Keith,
Aged and wrinkly? so you've met me. Sorry, I have not downloaded it but I did a "google" search and it came up with quite a lot of help pages one of which was to go to the above site. If your son also does a quick search I think he'll find enough information to successfully install it.
Good luck
Paul

Thanks a lot Paul. I would explain that I'm an aged wrinkly without any computer training and certainly not very good when it involves downloading especially with a lot of if's & but's in the instructions.
My Son is very much my tutor and I think he will be called in to assist!!
I am wondering if you have in fact used this update and can say if it is successful from your own experience.
I will definitely give it a try as soon as "back-up" is available.

My very best wishes & thanks
Keith.

Hi - With my old PC, I used Quicken 2000 for my straight-forward personal and household accounts and found it very simple and uncomplicated to use. I have now splashed out on a new computer using Vista which won't accept my Quicken software.

Can anyone suggest a simple alternative -- Just to deal with -money in, money out, standing orders and direct debits ie no tax, or vat complications.

Surely someone is using a good easy programme which they would recommend

Hope to hear from you, Regards Keith
