I am looking for details on John who went on to marry Elsie Newman and lived in birmingham
Would like to find details of his parents and siblings if possible

thanks that information sounds very interesting - as i wrote i dont have much info on them just their names goerge and elizabeth and they had 6 children (maybe more) what do I do now with that information do you know what i can look at now

You can buy that Marriage cert which will then tell you both Fathers names and occupations.
This info will help you go further back...
