Would anyone be able to point me in the right direction??

A Quarter of my family are from County Wexford Southern Ireland, a quarter from County Down, Northern Ireland and some abroad in South Africa, New Zealand and Austrailia.

Where should i go to find their details??
Thanks in Advance for any help :)

Emma,

You could try Cyndi's List as a starting point.

Good luck,

Peter

Hi Emma

You may be able to find your Northern Ireland BMDs on emeraldancestors.com. There is a free search engine but for more information you will need to subscribe.

And Ross Davis has a good site ( Just google his name )

I have had a look on emeraldancestry, It dates up until 1900 so its skipping a generation or even two for me, so sadly it has not been much help.

I have googled Ross Davis, but it hasnt resulted in a geneology site.

Thank you for the familysearch link, i am looking into that now :)

Hi Emma

Ireland is difficult cos a lot of the records were destoyed deliberatly in the 1800s and those that weren't were destroyed by fire. The IGI is a good resource, but also ifhs.org.uk might help.
