Yes that's the one thanks. I'll enter Boullermmoor.

What prompted my question was he appears on the 1861 census with a wife named Elizabeth aged 21 born in Sowerby.

I was trying to see if her age was entered incorrectly.

Bullamore is a place in north Yorkshire apparently.Maybe a district of Northallerton If you google it you will find info about it, but I can't find in on a map.

There are a number of people with trees containing this family on ancestry - interesting - birth place given as Catterick (the army barracks) See that Matthew was army pensioner. This tree gives the Nodding line back to the mid 17th century:

Heather I have seen those details on another tree but I always check, double check and triple check..lol

Susan with numbers pointed out when she was having a nose around my Lightfoots that he was an army pensioner. That's why I am looking at him tonight!

That tree seems to have been well researched - you may want to contact the chap - he appears to be on Elizabeth Noddings line.
