Printing out the Family Tree

Has anyone got any good ideas on how to print out a good looking family tree.  I rather fancy showing some personal details of my family which in places go back to 1586 all with large families.  I have managed to find some family on both paternal & maternal sides of my husband and my own families and thought it would be nice for the grandchildren to see the whole chain of events.I have printed the tree on Genes Reunited but it seems apart from birth dates rather bare and I have to sellotape all the pages together. Not sure I'm asking the impossible but any help would be appreciated.

You need some family tree software on your PC to enable you to do that. Family Tree Maker for example, has lots of different styles that you can print out and include as much or as little info as you want. Other programmes also do the same but I only use FTM so can't say anything about the others. You will still have to sellotape pages together though.

Alternitavely, you could upload your GEDCOM file to one of the companies that specicialise in printing family trees (I'm sure Ron from Genealogy Printers frequents these boards and will be along in a mo) but I don't know how much this is likely to cost.

You can't do what you want from this website.
