I'm about to contact a possible sister in law on my deceased Nana but I'm not sure how to structure the letter. Can anybody point me in the right direction as to the contents of an introductory letter? Is there another thread which can advise or a website that would give me some pointers? Thanks in advance

This is what my niece wrote when she contacted me:

"I believe you are my Aunt?I am very excited.
My name is**** I am *****'s daughter. I have been searching for you for a very long time.
I would very much love to here from you.I live in *****. Please contact me ASAP?I look forward to hearing from you."

Maybe something along those lines?
