FTM deleting

Please does anybody know how to delete a name on FTM. I have put a mothers name in the wrong place on the pedigree view and I don't seem to be able to delete it

Hi Jane,

Delete individual is not highlighted so I can't. Edit individual is highlighted but that doesn't seem to work.

Aha Just had a look and mine is the same as yours on pedigree view need to be on family view to delete a person I think.

Have you got the Starter Edition of FTM.

Some features of the program are not available in this edition, you have to buy the full version.

Hi Barbara.

I don't know what features are dissabled in the Starter Edition, I just know that some of them are and thought that deleting somebody from the file might be one of them.

I think that you cannot export your data to gedcom in the Starter Edition, am I right ???

Don't know about a gedcom Ron.
You can't save as a pdf to send.
I print out, scan back in and save as jpeg.
It worked o,k
