I am canvasing peoples knowledge or ideas on my grandfather's name. Does anyone think that with the inclusion of the name Seymour as one of the middle names that it would suggest that he could have been Anglo Irish or Protestant Irish. His full name was Thomas Patrick Seymour Kavanagh. Could this be a name pasted down through the female line?
I would be interested on any thoughts from members who may have irish family history experience.

Thank you for the reply. it certainly give me something to dwell on. Although my Grandfather's origins are like trying to catch a wisp of smoke.
