Good morning has anyone ever traced a personwhen the county they were born in was not known eg. I have a Maria branson married to a George Pool in the 1841 census in Haverhill Suffolk but she was not born in the county. wondered if anyone else had a similar problem they have sorted thank you

I would normally try to find them in the next census to see what that says

Just checked and i see you can't do that even as George is a Widow

What year of birth do you have for Maria?

Thank you for your answers I have her death certificate she died in 1849 and it says her age is 37 so I suppose she was born 1812 or maybe a bit earlier. I do have the record of her marriage to George Pool but it just says both of the parish.
So she was only on the one census.

There is a Mary Brunsen born 1812 in Wiltshire, but it probably has no connection :(
