Does anyone know if there are any records on line that I could look up to find out if a person who gave evidence in a trial at the Old Bailey in 1823 is the person I am looking for.

The Times On Line may have a newspaper report of the proceedings.

If the person only gave evidence at a trial, I don't think you are going to get any information on who they are other than their name and perhaps profession.

I have seen the Old Bailey on line and also off-line and neither give any details about witnesses.

However, I have a Times Online sub, so if you would like me to look for someone, please send me a pm.
