I have not subscribed to ancestry before and remember reading various threads a while back with different offers for taking out a subscription. Cabn anybody advise please the best package to subscribe to, are there any current offers on??.........also people mentioned that it was cheaper to purchase a subscription via another site, but I cant remember for the life of me, what the name was............I knwo this has beena sked before, but I was not able to find the thread so apologies for repeating.........just wanted to know if people had recently subscribed.

thanks
Paul

Well depends on what you want - if you only want the census and bmds then the basic one - if you want the whole caboodle including Pallots, army records etc then go for the deluxe. Go to quidco.com register with them then log in and enter ancestry in the search, use the link to go to them from quidco and see what they offer in terms of packages. Just sub to them as you would normally and then the deal should track and you will receive the 25% cash back (oh less a fiver for membership) Ive had over £750 cash back in 2 years from quidco.com

thanks Jim, I would guess that initially the essentials package looks enough to be going on with, just wondered if anybody has renewed lately and has had the price discounted at all??
