And look at the WIKI - its a sort of encyclopaedia of links to lots of sites for family history research Plus the Places of Worship project where members submit photos taken of churches they come across in their travels, handy to see and snag a photo of a church which was may be used by one of your ancestors.

Yes, a lot of us use the site.

Click on the tabs at the top of the pages over there - you can look at the brilliant monthly magazine the members put together sharing experiences of their own family history researches. You can also upload your gedcom and check for any matches yourself.

thanks kath, initially I thought it was connected to the family tree magazine, but it looks similar in style and layout to here, so will give it a try as well

Paul,

FamilyTreeForum was started two years ago by existing members of GenesReunited after a member who was very well liked and helped everyone a great deal was banned by GR after someone (who shall not be named) complained to GR. GR members were so upset by this decision and put so many messages on the boards that GR had to suspend the message boards for a few days until things died down.

A lot of people on here use both sites.
