Someone has allowed me access to their tree, but it won't open. It does contain a lot of people, so I have waited for a long time to give it chance, but it still won't load. Any ideas?

Keeley.

There could be a number of reasons. First of all are you able you open any trees, your own, for example?

Do you get any error messages?

Thanks for the reply gremlin. It is letting me view my own tree fine, and some others ok, but not the one I really want to view! No error messages are coming up either.

Ok, this confirms that you have the correct software on your PC, which is good.

Next step is to clear your internet temp files, and try again.

Hi Christine, make sure the other party has actually opened their tree to you.

Erm..internet temp files? What exactly are these? I can view her tree by starting at her and working my way up, but no the whole tree. I def have access to her tree yep.

Try entering the name of your shared relative on the drop down search box, just the name no age and see it it shows up ?
