Could anyone give any suggestions as to why I cannot find my grandmother (b)1899 G Grandmother 1876 and G Grandfather 1874 ,on the 1901 Census , could there be reason why they cannot be found .
I would be very grateful for any suggestions as to where to look for them.

Which census have you checked.....England, Wales, Scotland, or Ireland. Consider also spelling variation of the names you seek. I spent hours looking for an Arnold which I eventually found spelt Arnett

Thanks Alan....I have found this one in the past, Something not quite right is going on somewhere, I have Florence (1899) birth certificate and Harry and Florence Marriage cert, but have never been able to find them all on the census, I have just checked on the scottish census as well , still I can`t find them.
Harry was down as a musician on the marriage certificate, maybe there are some clues there .
