I am searching for William J CHAPMAN birth details. He was born Yorkshire abt 1863, his father (noted on William's marriage cert.) was George CHAPMAN.
William and his brother Charles M. CHAPMAN emigrated to South Australia on The Earle Dalhousie abt 1875. William and Charles then went to NSW.William was abt 12 yrs and his brother abt 19 at time of imagrating. I do believe they travelled alone. Don't know what happen to Charles but William went on to marry.
I have tried IGI and Ancestry census & Birth may be if some one could have a look, as I find when I search too long I tend to miss information.
Hoping for help, Cheers, Lorri.
