Try googling Savation army there is quite a lot of Info on there
My Grandparents were Salvationists but my father and his sisters got married at the local parish church ,but his stepsister got married at the local citadel and the entry on Lancs BMD says Registeroffice or registrar attended but at the ref is APE and this stands for authorised person entry.Which probably means that the Officer in charge was this person and they issued the certificate

have you googled to see if the Salvaton Army have a website? I suspect they would have and if so there could well be some information on there

my grandparents and their ancestors were all salvation army people, is there records for people baptised and married in the salvation army?
