It looks like it is a 'proprietary' file type used by an application called Grenopro

Here is the website - it mentions a free download

Someone has sent me a GNO file, which I know is a form of family tree programme. I have Family Tree Maker, access to ancestry.co.uk, PAF and other software but none of them seem to want to open this file.

Could anyone advise me how I could open this GNO file, or convert it to something I can read ?

Thanks in anticipation of help. xx
