Can anyone help in advising me how to search forwards through time to find someone? I've been successful in searching backwards but no idea where to start to locate someone today born in 1941.

I know my local library do microfiche info but what kind I don't know. would they be of any help? If not do you know of any people search companies that specialise in tracing people - that are reasonably priced!

Thanks

Jo

Not all libraries carry the GRO, - only certain main ones.
You could try searching the name lists on GR by going to ..Search trees.
If the name is not too common you might even try a Google search. It's surprising what clues can be found that way.

Hi both
thanks for your help. Unfortunately it's a very common name so having a nightmare in search results everywhere!

I have a copy of his birth cert, and a copy of his parents marriage cert but they're the last addresses I have for them and that was 1941... I can't even find divorce info for his parents which would've been about 47/48 ish.... with no idea of his present location I'm absolutely stumped!
