Where does her name come after your dad's? When was your father born and do you or he have his birth cert?

There's a Herbert Morgan, birth reg in Barnet, first quarter of 1896. Not sure if it's him or not - 3a 274

If so, it looks like he had a twin called Grace Elizabeth Morgan - 3a 275

Ignore my above post - I got the quarters muddled up. Your father was reg quarter 3, not 1. The Grace Elizabeth I found was reg quarter 1 so won't be your fathers twin.

There's no twin appearing with the same ref as your dads - maybe his twin was sadly stillborn?

What are Herbert's parents names on his birth cert?

You say that Victoria was born after your father and before Elsie in 1899. Victoria isn't with her family in 1901 so I'd take a guess that she'd died. As her birth or death isn't registered it could well point to the fact that she was stillborn and possibly your fathers twin as he said he had one.

All the best x

There is this birth :

Births Sep 1897 (>99%)
Morgan Victoria Mary Edmonton 3a 411

and this death:

Deaths Mar 1898 (>99%)
Morgan Victoria Mary 0 Edmonton 3a 245

Edmonton isn't that far from Barnet. The cert would confirm if the parents are the same.

If this is the birth then Elsie could also have been named after Victoria:

District: Islington
County: Greater London, London, Middlesex
