Hi All, only just decided to do this can you please tell me which are good websites to subscribe to for information. And breakdown of what to do, I am doing both my mother and fathers tree nobody to ask on mums side they have died or not in touch incl mum and dad is alive with hardly any information. To be honest I remember alot of info my mum and nan used to tell me.
So far I have upto my ggrandmother and ggrandfather on mums side and dads only upto grandfather and gggrandmother

Be prepared to buy some certificates along the way, it is the only way to accurately trace back.

Start by putting the name date and place of a relative on the trying to find board and you will get help.

Dont buy credits on here.

When you decide which way your research is going then concider which paid site to go for that will best give you results.

I did buy 50 credits and found a few certificates ledger numbers but thanks for all your info, I can see this taking over my life lol
