Member Since: March 2003 Posts: 7,819 Send Message	Remember that the searchable index on Ancestry is not the same as the one on say, find my Past. This is why names may appear on one but not the other. Ancestry's 1901 searchable index is riddled with errors.so if you can't find someone who you know should be on there, try another site.

Member Since: October 2007 Posts: 5 Send Message	When I search using genes reunited website I don't get a result for henry skitt in 1841 like Jim has. The only one I get is from Shropshire. Am I doing something wrong or is the database incomplete and you are looking somewhere else?

Another enthusiast has said he has found them under Scitt and his results seem to be a very good match but when I do the search they are not there, can anyone shed light on this. There should be: Henry Skitt b.1821/22 portobello, Willenhall, Staffordshire Emma Skitt b.1824/25 portobello, Willenhall, Staffordshire Eliza Skitt b.1854 portobello, Willenhall, Staffordshire Maria Skitt b.1863 portobello, Willenhall, Staffordshire Hannah Skitt b.1863/64 portobello, Willenhall, Staffordshire Sarah Skitt b.1845/46 portobello, Willenhall, Staffordshire Emma Skitt b.1859/60 portobello, Willenhall, Staffordshire
