I have found a birth on BMD Robert Taylor 1907 Stepney 1c sept/38
I have looked on ansestry sept 1938 but can see nothing with this name in stepney,
Can I use your eyes please to tkae a look and see what you come up with.

Diane there are 21 Taylors for 1907 on Ancestry , if it wasn't so slow at present I would look for you but maybe you have more patience ?

but what did BMD mean by 1c sep38 should I look at sept 1938 also, I did this but don't know what I am looking for

do you think this Robert Taylor sept 1938 is the same Robert Taylor from sept 1907 ?

Yes I think it could be the same man.
Either it was a late registration(very late)
Or he was ligitimised but I don't think this is the case as it would be cross referenced with an original entry.
