Can anyone tell me in simple terms please! I have MSN at the moment and its causing problems.

Hi Betty, do you mean search engine..?
if so, go to say Google, and download their search facility tools.

Yes Search engine if its called that!!
Everytime I open up to search anything I get a message saying Trojan.

I have scanned my computer twice but just when I want to go onto the internet, there is also Google at the top too but I want rid of the MSN but don't know how to change it. I am on Windows Vista.

are you using Internet Explorer, if so it is Microsoft.
I tried out I.E 8. beta 2. but it caused all sorts of problems....reverted back to I.E. 7...no problems.
Try to go to Google site and select downloads and get the search engine

Hi Foggy,

Sorry I am not good with computers or trying to tell you about it. I have both MSN which is the main one at the top and Google at the side as well.
I don't even know what you mean Internet Explore. Don't know what I have to be honest. Just want rid of MSN at the top.

Hi Betty, sounds like you have I.E which is Microsoft.
don't use the top box to put in your search information, use the google one, then you can download additional search engine
