I have been given a photo of my great grandfather who was 1 of the group of 10 policemen in it but I don't know which he is. The caption underneath says.......Swansea Boro Police Tonypandy Coalstrike 1911.

I have narrowed it down to two possibles but would like to be able to put a name to them all. I can make out numbers on the collars of most of their uniforms.

Does anyone know where I could write to or visit to find out more information about my photo?

wasn't it around that time that Winston Churchill sent troops into Wales to quell the miners strike? No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong. If it were me I would write to the Chief Constable in Swansea - I would imagine they would be interested in the photograph too
