Trying to find the birth records of a Mr Edward Arnold who died in France during WW1 (he was a Sergeant for the Royal Warwickshire Regiment, 11th Battalion) He died on 17th November 1916. He Married Eleanor Webster in Norwich in 1913 at the age of 25. His father is also believed to be of the same name. He enlisted in York. We cannot find his birth records. But there maybe a link with The Collegiate College in Beccles, not sure.

If anyone can help with any aspect of this enquiry, I would be most grateful to you, we do know where his grave is in France and intend to visit there next year to pay our respects, but we have so may gaps to fill in yet, I am soon to become Mrs Arnold and would be so pleased if I could tell my future intended that I have found the birthplace of his very brave Grandfather , Sgt.
