what are did he live in ? Maybe you have the dates wrong? I'm not sure if any of these are him. Do you have a wife's name ? then I can check you have the spelling correct.

Thanks Jonathan I have looked there and found nothing. All very strange. I sent for his death certificate but one couldn't be found I would have thought in 1928 you would have had to have one.

If there was an inquest the death may have been registered later, sometimes much later.

I have an uncle, William Kenneth Abercrombie who died 19/7/1928 in New Zealand but there is no death certificate. Can anyone explain this?
