hello all , i would like advice on how to trace relatives who emigrated to chicago in the 1880s and 1890s . i am reasonably new to family research and also computers so i'm unsure of the best way to go about this . arthur wilson b.1869 went to chicago abt 1903 ,his sister eleonor waller and husband thomas went to chicago in 1888 . a younger sister laura cawood(cowood) also went to chicago date unknown . what is the best way to find out about them and their descendants ? any help and /or advice appreciated . thanks alec .

AlecW: If you haven't posted elsewhere, I could have a look around for you. I believe I found Eleanor and her husband on the 1910, living in Chicago. She is listed as Eleanor Walter but on the image it is Waller.

Adding to what David mentioned, if you know their occupations as well, that would help. Thank you. Also, were the parents born in England?

I may have found other information about the family, if they were born in Yorkshire. Daisy has a passport application. Someone on Ancestry has a tree with them.
