My gran was adopted, is there any way that I can track the adoption records to find out who her family were? - I think she was born in Scotland.

ah, then I might have a problem, she was born in 1915 but I didn't think about the possibility of it being a relative that adopted her so I'll see if I can find anything out that way. Thanks for the quick response.
