1841 Welsh Census for Wrexham

I have been trying to find ancestors in Wrexham Regis. They are in all the censuses except the 1841 and there doesn't seem to be a Wrexham parish in that one. Does anyone know if Wrexham is listed as something else? Had the same problem on FMP as well. |

Registers now divided between Wrexham and Cheshire West districts, this is from freebmd, have you tried looking in Cheshire? |

Thankyou - yes I did. Just googled and discovered that 1841 census for Wrexham is missing! Just my luck. Why can't they look after things properly ??? |
