Does anyone know where to start looking for info on the following?
Circus performers (my gggrandad was a clown)
Order of the Buffalos (my grandad was one)
Heraldic painters.
This would all be from the last century (1800-1900's)
I have tried the internet but found it difficult to glean information from around this time. Would be grateful for any suggestions. Thanks Jenny.

Thanks LD for those links, have tried them but couldn't glean any info re the time period. I have sent an email to the Grand Lodge to see if they can help.
