hi, im wanting to find who lived at an address in the 1940's & 1950's...is there anywhere on the net where i can do this even if i have to pay....

I don't think there's anywhere online.

Lists are kept at main libraries or archives local to that address.
There were none compiled during the war years.
Some libraries will check an address if you e mail them,...Some won't.
Some charge, ..some don't.
