Please can any one give me any advice as to how I find out about the following.

My cousin gave me a record he found in his late father's papers, it
says.

Ewan Morgan Jones.
son of Morgan James sailed to USA April 1825. With other Drovers
employed by W. Tunstall in Iowa.
Ewan took Decora, Cherokee Sqaw as his partner.
A son David Toma born June 1827.
A daughter Natoma Sitka born Dec 1830.
After the death of his father, leaving daughter with mother in Cedar
Falls. Ewan returned Home to Wales. Ewan returned to USA 1836
possible to Cedar Falls.

As I can not go back any further than my Great Grandfather Richard Jones born 1820 Malpas Chester I think and his father John Jones I think from Wrexham. By finding out about Ewan seems my only hope, so what is the best thing I could do?

Many thanks for any info.
Christine.

Yes I have looked on the familysearch. Trouble is I do
not have any idea where in Wales to look for, I have
been told by my mother Wrexham but I do not know if it is. I just thought I would try and find the Ewan Morgan
Jones. So far no luck.
Thank you for your help.
Christine.
