How do I confirm who my Great Grand Parents are if there is no record of them getting married ?
I have there sons birth cert and it tells who they are

does anyone have some suggestions

my Nans parents marriage 14 years after she was born & she was the youngest of 3.

If you'd like to put up some names i don't mind having a look for you
Also but im not saying she was if your Gt G/mother was married before she would of married under that surname

I have my grandmothers birth cert and her marriage cert. giving her fathers name.
She is on the census as a nursechild and a lodger on the next census. No sign of parents marriage. So frustrating


On your grandfather birth cert what is his fathers occupation?. You might be able to find him on the census by using that.

I have had others look for me and they can not find a marriage
Edward John Williams and Marie Benjamin my granddad was born 1931 but i think he had a older sister born 1925 Rose

I have also check after to see if they got married late , no luck
i know she died about 1979 but i think she remarried at some time ?

any suggestions

Ah now this puts a different light to things

There probably is a marriage for them but the problem is that its the complete records that needs looking throught which is a long job.....It's 40 pages for 10 years and it you could narrow it down a bit that would help, but like i said my nans parents married 14 years after she was born

Is this Rose, were they from London?
