Could anyone tell me where I might find out what an amount of money left in a Will of 1849 (£200) would be equal to today?
Any help appreciated.

Hello David and Amanda
Thank you both very much, I had tried a site which I found on ask.com but didn't give what I needed, I will try this one now.

Thank you
I have found that £200 in 1850 (nearest year) would be worth £11,706.00 today, a very good amount
