I am not very up on the workings of computers but this is how I do it.

It will alter all pages on your computer but it only takes a few seconds.
TOOLS
INTERNET OPTIONS
ACCESSIBILITY
IGNORE COLOURS SPECIFIED ON WEB PAGES
OK

You will have black print on a white page.

Jim - could you please tell me how to disable the colour when printing.

Thanks

You can make your own copy of your tree from GR and then open it elsewhere in a compatible (PAF) format. Then you can print it off whenever you want.

Go to 'import/export gedcom' on the green bar at the bottom of the page.

If you don't renew your subscription you will then be a free member.

The only things you will not be able to do are post on the message boards and initiate any contact with other members.

If someone sends you a message, you will be able to reply.

I have just gone into a second "free" account of mine.
I only have the one name there.
It printed ok but i would not advise doing it as it used a huge amount of green ink.
I did it again after disabling the colour and it was ok.
