Is there a simple fix to change the text colour when viewing GR tree info? Simply highlighting it still doesn't provide enough contrast to make the test visible.

You can try enlarging the text from PAGE/Text size at the top of the page, but this will change all the print on all your sites.

Researching:
For better results please give all the details ,name, date place as you can {pictures by me }
